A close friend’s father has just been diagnosed with a malignant brain
tumor. He’s in his early 80s and otherwise healthy. My friend asked me to
post a message asking for any information that any one can provide on
sources of information, help etc etc.

There is a braintmr listserv that you can participate in if you wish

What type and stage of brain tumor is it? GBM? Glioma. Where in the
brain is it located?
The more specific the information, the better to address it…
Is it a primary brain tumor or metastatic from some other site? There is
plenty of info on both, but it helps to narrow your search. Try also
calling 1-800-4CANCER for good patient information, too.
