Powerful Search Tools

I have had epilepsy for as long as I remember being alive.  I know that
oftentimes pils don’t work and a lot of coping and hoping is required
to live with a chronic disorder.  If I could coult the times that I’ve
seen a baffled expression on a doctor’s face-I’d be rich by now. :-)
Fortunately, last year I was turned on to the internet/WWW at the same
time that my health too an all-time-LOW.  During the past year and this
year my routine is to wake up then have 2-3 hours of simple partial
seizures (auras), and then go on with my day.  My head tells me when I
can hop in the shower!  The resources which are contained inside the
"magic box" that I call the computer, can’t be found anywhere,
honestly!
Also, the support within the wonderful newsgroups can make the
difference between feeling very alone and feeling human.
Here I am with my pills not working, having tried every pill short of
two for complex partial, waiting for hormonal therapy to work, and
having BRAIN SURGERY LOOK ME RIGHT IN THE EYE!
These search tools can truly answer questions and enable you to get
priceless information with the help of your typing skills and a fast
modem. :-)

Another new search engine that I discovered tonight
    NLIGHTN

It gives access to many things that I could not get to
    before–some have a small fee–~.10/article

Just to add more "hoorays" for the resources on the net…
I’ve had a Chronic condition of night-terrors/sleepwalking most of my
adult life.  Last fall, I used some of the same search utilities you
mentioned to try to find info that might be of help.  I did.
The info online got me in touch with a clinic within 1 hour’s drive of my
home, and I am now undergoing successful treatment.

Try it folks, the info’s out there!

My son was diagosed with Batten disease. He is 4 years old. This disease
will kill him because there are no known cures. Can you help me please by
broadcasting on the net to see if anyone out there knows anything about
this disease that can save my son.

Thanks in advance and good luck

One of the things I was happiest to find and therefore included it
on my web page, was a URL that lets me search MEDLINE for free.

If you want to locate the heavy duty full tilt published scientific
research this is the place to go.  Hit the button on my page, enter
the word or words of your choice and there’s the list and links to
    further reading.  I love it.

I plan to live a long time and stay young doing it.
I take DHEA and Proanthenols.  Ask me about them.
