Thanks so much for the information above!!!  I am brand new at this
internet and web stuff, but you got me to the right place.  What I don’t
understand is how does this web site relate to newsgroups.  Also, how do
I find newsgroups that are devoted solely to breast cancer?

I know, I’m an idiot about these things, but I spent the last few years
on Compuserve forums.  Now I’m in Chico CA where there is no local
access number for Compuserve and so I have a local Internet provider.
    What a new world!!!!!!

Any advice would be appreciated.  I’m using the Netscape beta 3 for this
note and for accessing news groups and the web.  It took me three full
days to get all this PPP stuff to work.  And I do have some tech
    experience!

    Thanks again,

    Joan
