The above book published by Avery Publishing Group in 1990 provides hope
for those fighting Cancer. The diet appears to be restricted to those
who are "solid tumor Cancer patients". Does this mean that the Dr.
Moerman’s diet would not help persons with leukemia or lymphoma.? If
there is anyone out there who can enlighten me in this regard, I would
really appreciate it. TIA.
Best regards,
John
by convention, leukemia and lymphomas aren’t considered "solid" tumors.
In any case, I haven’t seen any enthusiasm for the particular diet you
mentioned in any of our cancer patients.

I’m sorry to say the Moerman Diet has been "invented" by a colleague and
countryman of mine, and it’s absolute crap. There is no evidence
whatsoever, that it will do anything for cancer patients, no matter what
type of malignancy they have.

I don’t know if the Moerman’s diet works or not, but when I once
looked up what it consisted of, IMHO it didn’t seem to differ
significantly from some other diets, which have had at least limited
success as an adjunctive cancer treatment.
