Does anyone know where I can find information on how fast colorectal
cancer
spreads, based on age?
I have searched in the obvious places — Oconlink, etc.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I haven’t seen much information on cancer spread by age in ref to
colorectal cancer. It has more to do with the stage the cancer is
at when it’s discovered and it’s histology. New data suggests
that the presence of certain genetic markers, like p53, may be
useful in assessing recurrence risk and prognosis. H2

Go to the hospital library, look at the book "Principles of Clinical
Oncology". You might be able to get some information there.
Colorectal cancer is very slow growing. It can take 5 years or so
before a tumor causes pain or is noticed, depending on where the
tumor is located. There is no definitive time period, however.
When the colorectal tumor has metastasized to the liver, the tumor
can doulbe in size every 160-180 days. Again a rough number, not
a hard and fast number.
The book "Principles of Clinical Oncology" will give you some
information on the speed and growth of this type of cancer.
